PTA Newsletter - April 22nd 2008
Dear Parents,
Last term was a reasonably quiet one for the PTA, however we will be making up for it this term, with the… SUMMER FAIR! This year the fair will be held on June 21st – organisation is well underway, but what we need now is volunteers to help on the day. Finding help on the day is the most stressful part of the organisation, so if you can help in anyway, even if it is just for an hour, please contact me as soon as possible.
Rugby Car Parking: We have quite a few events coming up and if you can help with the car park at any of them please send me your email or phone number and I will contact you nearer each event. The next events are on April 26th, May 31st, June 1st, June 27th & 28th and July 5th
Quiz Night: A date has been set for the next popular PTA quiz night – it will be held on Saturday May 10th, and entry forms will be sent out in the next couple of days. This is always a great event, so please come along and have some fun whilst testing your general knowledge!
Photography Day: You should have received, along with this newsletter, a letter about a great opportunity for you to have a professional photography session for you and your family – places are allocated on a first come first served basis so please return your booking slip on the letter as soon as possible.
Spring Disco: Once again the children had a fantastic evening, and despite a record attendance all went smoothly – this is thanks to the continued dedication of Coleen Norman and her team – well done all!
Next PTA meeting: Tuesday May 13th at 8pm. We will always welcome new members – and so if you would like to attend then please just come along on the night to the school staff room.

On behalf of the PTA, I would like to offer congratulations to Miss Rainey (4R) on her engagement to her partner Nick – this is wonderful news and I wish them every happiness for the future.
