PTA Newsletter - June 2nd 2009
Dear Parents,
This newsletter is to simply remind you of two important aspects of the PTA calendar.
Firstly, as you will all be hopefully fully aware, the SUMMER FAIR, is coming up and will take place on Saturday July 4th.
The summer fair team have been working incredibly hard to make the event a success. However, the event cannot happen without your help on the day. Please, if you haven’t already, consider giving us an hour of your time on the day to help make the fair an enjoyable day for your children. Please fill in the form below and return it to the school office a.s.a.p. – or you can send me an email at the address below.
Secondly, the next PTA meeting will be held on JULY 7th at 8pm. This will be the AGM and we will be electing the committee for the coming school year. If you would like to be nominated for any of the officer positions, then please contact me before the deadline of Tuesday June 9th. Further details regarding nominations can be found on our website.
Additionally, calling all year 6 parents – we are looking for school photos - if any of you happen to have a copy of your child’s group class photo from way back in Reception (Class RA, Miss Allingham/Mrs King) then please get in touch with me. Also, if anyone has copies of the Netball team, or indeed any group activities photos, again, please get in touch.
Finally, please see details on the reverse of this letter on how you can help the school get free cooking equipment. Simply collect Flora tokens and register then against our school at www.cookingwithschools.com .
