PTA Newsletter - September 2007
Welcome back to what promises to be another busy, successful and fun year for the PTA.
As usual we will be organising the usual mix of fund-raising and social events, details of which will be circulated nearer the time of each event. Details of all events can also be found on our website: www.nelsonpta.com The website also keeps you up to date with all the important dates in the school calendar as well as all the meeting minutes and agendas.
Stadium Event car parks
There are just two events at the stadium before the end of the year, the first one being this weekend. As you will be aware, this is the major source of income for the PTA but we always need volunteers to help on the day. Please let us know, either via the website or by filling in the slip below if you are able to offer any help on either date.

Sat 1st December Rugby SA v Barbarians
Many thanks to all of you who helped with the 4 events over the summer holiday. These 4 events raised well over £10,000 and we cant do it without your help
Christmas Fair
A provisional date for the Christmas Fair is Friday November 30th this will be confirmed soon.
Family BBQ
You should have received your invite by now for this social event to be held on Saturday 29th September at 4pm. We hope you can come along to what should be a fun evening, with BBQ, Bar, Childrens Disco & Bouncy castle please return your ticket request slip as soon as possible.
PTA meeting
If you wish to take a more active part in the PTA the first meeting of the new school year is on Wednesday 19th September, at 8pm in the staffroom in the infant building, all welcome. Welcome drinks from 7.45.
